CANTRAIN, in partnership with CAN-TAP-TALENT, CBITN, and STROKECOG Platform, ran a successful CTTP Studentship/Fellowship Awards Program 2024-25 Competition to build clinical trials capacity among the next generation of researchers and professionals.
Together, with over $900,000 in support from Provincial co-funders, CANTRAIN and partnering CTTPs awarded over $2.1 Million in funding to a total of 87 clinical research-focused graduate and postdoctoral awardees across Canada– including 19 postdoctoral fellows, 38 doctoral candidates, and 30 master’s degree students.
We are thrilled to share with you that CANTRAIN conferred 46 awards in 5 provinces: British Columbia, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia.
During their studentship/fellowship year, awardees are supported through carefully developed coursework, mentorship, and the opportunity to disseminate their research, interact and network during the 2025 Clinical Trials Training Summit poster sessions and competition.
